The Daytona International Speedway is where all the action, all 24 hours of action, will take place this coming weekend. Bell Micro Racing will host its first relationship sales event of the season with a guest list topping 100. Working with our East Coast Sales Teams, the guest list includes representatives from the following companies; APC, Analogic, Acme Packet, Adtec, AMII, ATM, Bosche, CDW, Dictaphone, DTX, EDM, Netezza, Semitronics, Sonicare, Sonus, Smartdisk, Tag, Tyco and more.
Alex Job Racing/Emory Motorsports is going into the Grand American Rolex Series presented by Crown Royal Reserve as one of the favorites to win overall. The team is running the only Porsche/Crawford combination entered in the race. Guests will be cheering for the #23 car which will be driven by Lucas Luhr, Mike Rockenfeller and Patrick Long.
“We showed some speed at the test which was encouraging,” said Alex Job. “We were able to put in a fast lap, but we had a myriad of little things throughout those three days that curtailed our running.” “The Crawford chassis and Porsche engine are proven individually, but not together as a package. We think it is the right package, but we have to have a better feeling for the reliability to be in contention come Sunday the 29th at noon.” said Alex. The team ended the three day test session, three weeks ago, with the best lap time of 1:43:431 and an average speed of 123 mph.
The Rolex 24 Hour at Daytona will be televised live via the SPEED Channel starting at 12:00 PM (ET) on Saturday, January 28th.
