The 55th Annual Mobile 1 Twelve Hours of Sebring will take place this Saturday, March 17. The opening round of the American Le Mans Series season will see the newest team entry the #18 Bell Micro Racing/Rahal Letterman Racing Porsche 911 GT3 RSR. Bell Micro and Seagate will host the first Relationship Sales Event of the season with 120 plus Bell Micro customers and sales executives on hand to enjoy a full 12 hours of racing. The Bell Micro hospitality suite, located on turn 17 of the 3.7 mile track, will provide our guests with trackside viewing when the green flag drops at 10 a.m. on Saturday morning. The Florida sales team pulled together a terrific list of local guests representing such companies as Adtec, Alcorn MacBride, America II, ATM, CBM of America, City of Port St. Lucie, Concurrent, DRS, DTX, Freedom Scientific, GE Security, Honeywell, Martin Memorial Health, MCI Assembly, Med-Dispense, Myriad Computer Solutions, NCR Kinetics, Tyco, Siemens, SMI, Valhalla Enterprises, Witt Biomedical and more.
The #18 Bell Micro/Rahal Letterman Racing Porsche will be piloted by Ralf Kelleners and Tom Milner. Ralf, a 38-year-old native of Dinslaken, Germany, has professional sports car experience dating back to the early 90’s and has driven factory entries at Le Mans for Porsche and Toyota and for Ferrari at Sebring and Daytona. Tom, a 21 year-old native of Washington, Virginia, joins RLR with two full seasons of sports car experience, including last season in the ALMS GT2 class where he drove for Mutimatic Motorsports and posted nine top-ten finishes in ten races. Graham Rahal, current Champ Car World Series driver for Newman-Haas Racing and son of RLR co-owner Bobby Rahal, will join Kelleners and Milner as the third driver.
Some of the biggest stars from Formula 1, NASCAR, Champ Car and IRL have at one time or another driven at Sebring. Bell Micro guests will have an opportunity this weekend to watch a terrific line up of drivers including Tony Kanaan, Helio Castroneves, Dario Franchitti, Rinaldo Capello, Allan McNish, Emanuele Pirro, Marco Werner, Frank Biela, Sascha Maassen, Romain Dumas, Timo Bernhard, Butch Leitzinger, Ron Fellows, Max Papis, Bill Auberlen and many more.
