Don Bell

Don Bell began racing professionally in 1981 as a competitor in the International Motor Sports Association (IMSA) Series driving Camaros, Firebirds, Porsches, Buicks and more. In 1984 he graduated to IMSA’s prestigious GTP class of prototype sports cars driving a Buick powered Argo chassis. Bell competed in the GTP series in 1984, 1985 and 1986 winning the prestigious Miami Grand Prix that year. In 1987 Bell would move to the Camel Lights series driving the #01 AT & T Pontiac/Spice car.
